China-based Xiaomi, smartphone producer, claimed it holds 10% market share for smartphone in Indonesia, the third largest behind Korea-based Samsung and Oppo from China. Global-wise, Xiaomi sales reached more than 23 million units, with sales volume in Indonesia becoming the fifth largest. Xiaomi intensively builds cooperation with local partners such as Erajaya and Satnusa. Xiaomi targets to produce one million smartphone units per month in 2018, from current 300,000 units per month.
