The Indonesian economy expanded 5.01% year-on-year (y/y) in the June quarter (Q2) of 2017 to Rp3,366.8 trillion, the same pace as in Q1. In term of production, the highest growth contributed by information and communication sector (+10.88%). While in term of spending, non-profit institutions serving households led GDP growth (+8.49%). Indonesia’s GDP grew 4% quarter-on-quarter (q/q) in Q2 of 2017, following a 0.34% decline in the March quarter. The for first half (H1), Indonesian economy grew by 5.01%, contributed by Java (58.65%), Sumatera (21.69%), and Kalimantan (8/15%).
