The Government of Indonesia will continue focusing on the infrastructure development in 2018, to boost the connectivity between regions. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo stated on his annual speech at the parliament building today (Aug 16) that the Government targets to build new roads (856 kilometers length) and irrigation (781 km length). In 2015-2016 period, first two years of Jokowi’s administration, the road and its capacity development reached 7,000 km length, new railway (199.6 km) and four new airports.
