Foreign investors continued selling local stocks as they booked further net sell of Rp348.7 billion on Monday (August 7), cutting year to date net buy to only Rp5.6 trillion. Foreign investors’ net buy ever reached Rp27.5 trillion in June 2, 2017, but they opted to pull out their funds from Indonesian stock market since the political situation was heating up in past two months. Foreign investors might have switched their money to other stock markets in Asia that offer more promising gains or returns.
