The central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) reported that the foreign capital inflow reached Rp115 trillion until second week of August this year, smaller that Rp137 trillion in the corresponding period of last year. Foreign investors booked net sell of Rp66.2 billion in local stocks, cutting year to date net buy to Rp5.44 trillion only. The Government however said investors remain have high appetite in investing in bond market, reflecting on high demand over government’s bonds offered in August 8 with the incoming bids of Rp58.6 trillion. The Government offered bonds through auction and only raised Rp22.5 trillion fund. The said bonds offer yield of 6.63% to 7.9%.
