Application-based transportation firm Grab, a growing competitor for Go-Jek in Indonesia, has received US$2 billion fund injection from Didi Chuxing and SoftBank Group Corp. Grab also has further injection of US$500 million from the existing and new investors, bringing to total US$2.5 billion fund injection. Anthony Tan, CEO and Co-Founder Grab Group is optimistic, backing by new investors, to lead Grab as the leading in ride-sharing industry in Indonesia and developing GrabPay as main solution of payment in Southeast Asia region.
