The largest petrochemical firm Chandra Asri Petrochemical (TPIA) has signed agreement with US-based CB&I which the latter to supply raw material for furnace revamping of TPIA’s naphtha cracker plant targeted for the completion by 2020. The revamp will start in third quarter (Q3) next year, to boosting production capacity of ethylene to 900 kiloton per annum (KTA) (from current 860 KTA), propylene to 490 KTA (from 470 KTA), py-gas 420 KTA (from 400 KTA), and mixed C4 330 KTA (from 315 KTA).
