Business activity survey result, conducted by the central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI), indicates that business activity during the second quarter (Q2) improved as it grew better than the Q1. The improvement occurred in most sectors led by trade, hotel & restaurant, and processing industry. The domestic consumption grew. The installed capacity and number of workers increased in Q2. In financial sector, the liquidity and rentability of business activity remain maintained, also ease of access to bank lending. But the business activity is expected to have limited growth post the session of the holy month Ramadhan and Eid ul-Fitr Celebration.
