PT Jalin Pembayaran Nusantara (JPN) is targeted to commence operation in January 2018, to integrating transaction system of state banks; Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia, and Bank Tabungan Negara. That four state banks will hold shares in JPN. JPN will provide switching services for ATM machines operated by state banks, which lead into efficiency in costs. Currently JPN is fully owned by state telco firm PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia or Telkom. While Bank Mandiri said it allocates Rp800 billion for acquiring JPN shares.
