Investors in the stock market were focused on buying banking stocks this year as the banking industry was shown to be improving. Year to date, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) has gained 28.7% and Bank Central Asia (BBCA) hiked 14.4%. Bank Mandiri and Bank Negara Indonesia (BBNI) also rose 9.5% and 17.2% respectively. Among banks, BBCA has the biggest market capitalization (Rp433 trillion), followed by BBRI (Rp367 trillion), Bank Mandiri (Rp293 trillion), and BBNI (Rp120 trillion).To subscribe please click here
