State electricity firm PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) is set to get Rp12 trillion syndicated loan from banks, including state banks, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) and Bank Mandiri (BMRI). BRI involves in syndicated financing for infrastructure projects, mainly the electricity projects. The syndicated loan for PLN will be provided in the second quarter this year, disbursed in 2-3 stages. The Government of Indonesia focuses to realizing its target for the 35,000 megawatts (MW). BRI last year disbursed Rp40 trillion in total to PLN.
