Freeport May Build Smelter in Gresik, But It Must Divest 51%

PT Freeport Indonesia may be facing a dilemma. On the one hand, the Government of Indonesia has already agreed to allow Freeport to build their smelter in Gresik, East Java. But on the other hand, the Government hasn’t agreed on the terms of Freeport’s required divestment.
