Toll Road Authority (BPJT) is now reviewing 12 toll road projects proposed by the business entities located in Java area and one section is located in Sulawesi island. Yogyakarta-Solo section (396 km). State toll operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) also wants to construct Demak-Kudus-Surabaya toll section, access to Patimban port, Bandung outer ring road, and Tegal-Cilacap toll section. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) is interested to contruct some toll road sections in East Java; Mojokerto-Mojosari-Gempol, Malang-Kepanjen, Singosari-Batu, and Bawen-Yogyakarta. WTR is also keen to construct Makassar-Maros toll section in Sulawesi.
