Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said on Monday (Apr 3) that the Indonesian economy bottomed in 2016 and started its positive trend this year for a recovering phase. She noted that all sources of growth engine for the economy had normalized. Domestic consumption, Sri Mulyani added, had grown by 5.7% in the past decade, with investment growing 6.8%. Government spending, higher export, and lower import would help support economic growth.
