Foreign investors booked a net sell of Rp269.3 billion in local stocks on Friday last week (Mar 31), as some opted to lock in profit after certain stocks. Year to date, foreign investors have booked a net buy of Rp8.35 trillion. The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) fell 0.4% to close at 5568 on Friday, with trading value reaching Rp8.34 trillion, higher than its average daily trading value of Rp6.99 trillion. The rupiah weakened to Rp13,321 against the U.S. dollar on Friday.
