The Indonesian Central Bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) reported that the lending in the first quarter of 2017 only grew by 9% year-on-year (yoy), still slow year to date. BI targets lending growth at 10-12% for this year. That said, lending posted lower growth in the first quarter because economic activity starts in the second quarter.To subscribe please click here
