State-owned miner Aneka Tambang (ANTM) will build ferronickel plant in Halmahera Timur, to be constructed by consortium of state-owned construction firm Wijaya Karya (WIKA) and Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. The construction will run in three stages. The first stage construction costs Rp3.5 trillion and will take 30 months. The plant will produce 13,500 tons of ferronickel per year.
