The Islam Defenders Front (FPI) is a well-known group of religious thugs. They’ve been causing troubles for as long as they’ve existed. But as of late 2016, the Group picked up a momentum they’d never enjoyed before, and now they’re even more recalcitrant than they’ve ever been. FPI has gone as far as overtly antagonizing the leadership of the Indonesian Police. They’re recently calling for the dismissal of the Chief of the West Java Police (Kapolda Jabar) Inspector General Anton Charliyan and the Chief of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police (Kapolda Metro Jaya) Inspector General M.
