While the banking sector reported lower earning (9.1% growth) for the Jan-Nov 2016 period, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) Tbk (BBNI) reported a strong growth. BBNI reported a net profit of Rp11.34 trillion for 2016, which is a 25.1% growth from Rp9.07 trillion in 2015. The growth was supported by a 17.4% growth in net interest income and a 23.1% growth in non-interest income. BBNI’s net interest income reached Rp29.99 trillion, and non interest income reached Rp8.59 trillion.To subscribe please click here
