Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s Government may have become extremely fed up with managing the impact of hoax. This afternoon the President will hold a meeting with his security officials to discuss the national level approach on handling the spread of fake news or hoax in the social media sphere. It was the Chief of the National Police (POLRI) Tito Karnavian who told the press yesterday of the meeting. Chief Tito said that inter-agency coordination on handling the spread of provocative content in social media would be among the topic discussed in the meeting.
