As predicted, the GNPF-MUI (the National Movement for Defending Indonesian Ulemma Council’s Fatwa), the group behind the November 4th rally, has planned two more rallies: one for November 25 and another for December 2, 2016. The group demand that the Police detain the incumbent Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, who has been named a suspect in a blasphemy case.
