The Indonesia Football Association (PSSI) is expected to hold its congress on October 17, 2016, in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The congress will elect the new chairman of PSSI for the next five years. Three individuals have so far expressed their willingness to run in the chairmanship race. They are Lt. Gen. Edy Rahmayadi, Gen. (ret) Moeldoko, and Erwin Aksa.
