Of some of the reasons why President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo would choose to reshuffle his cabinet, we’ve identified two we found to be the most compelling: the first is that the President would have to accommodate his new supporters (Golkar and PAN) while keeping his own political party (PDI-P) happy, and the second reason is the President’s own desire to achieve his accelerated performance target in 2016.
