The Government of Indonesia has proposed the macroeconomic assumptions for the Country’s 2017 State Budget draft (RAPBN). The impact of implementing a tax amnesty policy was included in the set of assumptions. As such, the Government seems confident that it would be able to come to an agreement with the House of Representatives (DPR) and pass the Tax Amnesty Bill—with July 1, 2016 being the expected starting date for implementation. To subscribe please click here
