The General Election Commission (KPU) is adamant on not allowing political parties in dispute (including Golkar) to participate in the simultaneous regional elections. The KPU once again cited the terms stipulated in KPU Regulation No. 9/2015—disputing parties could only participate after (1) there’s final conclusion from the Supreme Court (MA) with the winner subsequently legitimized as the rightful party by the Minister of Law & Human Rights; or after (2) there’s a joint central executive board (DPP) formed by way reconciliation with said joint DPP subsequently legitimized by the Minister of Law & Human Rights.
