Famous poet and journalist Goenawan Mohamad, one of founders of National Mandate Party (PAN), has decided to leave PAN following the party’s decision to support nomination of Prabowo Subianto as president candidate. Today, Alvin Lie, another founder of PAN, also opposed the party’s decision. On the other hand, more and more leaders from prospective partners—PPP and PKS expressed their oppositions to PAN chairman Hatta Rajasa as VP candidate, but most likely not because of Hatta’s heavy luggage.
