Indonesia reported trade deficit of US$4.06 billion for the whole 2013, expanded 143% from 2012, mostly due to expansion of deficit in oil and gas by 126% to US$12.63 billion. Non oil and gas trade deficit with China, meanwhile, grew 2.3% to US$8.29 billion. December 2013 provided better results with trade surplus of US$1.5 billion, almost doubled from November.
