Mooryati Soedibyo, the founder and owner of cosmetic company Mustika Ratu (MRAT) has just passed away at 96 years old. She married Soedibyo Purbo Hadiningrat in 1956, and the couple had children named Putri Kuswisnuwardhani, Djoko Ramiadji, and Haryo Tedjo Baskoro. Djoko is recently listed as President Commissioner, while Haryo is listed as Commissioner of MRAT.

In mid 2022, the investigation into allegations of corruption at the root of the problem which caused the cooking oil shortage and price surcharge developed after the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) announced that it had named three groups of companies as suspects. The Panel of Judges of the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta recently decided to denied the PKPU lawsuit filed by PT Bukaka Teknik Utama Tbk (BUKK) against PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT), that was the third PKPU lawsuit filed by Bukaka within only a year. Waskita Karya announced the decision and had mentioned that the lawsuit did not affect the company’s operation. Election Dispute and Nepotism Loophole

The much anticipated general election results dispute (PHPU) ended with the expected outcome. The Assembly of Justices of the Constitutional Court is of the opinion that the petitions in both lawsuits are legally groundless in their entirety and thus strengthen the position of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka as winners of the 2024 election. This decision was not unanimous as there were three Justices who expressed dissenting opinions.
