Last night, Mar. 18, the House of Representatives’ (DPR) Legislative Body (Baleg) and the Central Government agreed to bring the Bill on the special status of Jakarta (DKJ), which regulates the Jakarta governor and vice governor to be elected in a direct election, into the next House’s plenary session to be deliberated into a new law.
