The dollar index strengthened for a 4th consecutive session to 93.3 on Monday, the strongest level since August 23rd, as investors were cautious ahead of the highly anticipated FOMC meeting later in the week. Traders continue to await more clues on when the Fed will start reducing stimulus. Concerns over a potential default by China Evergrande Group also dented global risk appetite.
