Sarana Meditama Metropolitan (SAME), operator of Omni Hospitals, is set to launch the rights issue, offering 5.71 billion new shares, representing 32.44% of enlarged capital, downsized from the initial plan of 6 billion new shares or 50.42% of its enlarged capital. PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) will act as the standby buyer. EMTK now controls 72.19% of SAME’s shares. SAME has priced its new shares at Rp200 per unit to raise a total of Rp1.14 trillion.
