Andi Alfian Mallarangeng, the closest aide of former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), stated that the move of Moeldoko to overthrow SBY’s son Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) through the extraordinary congress (KLB) of Democratic Party is beyond Moeldoko’s political ambition. Andi, who is now the secretary of the Democratic Party’s Highest Council, speculated that Moeldoko’s maneuver is related to the amendment of the 1945 Constitution.
