The Commander of the Indonesian Military (TNI) Air Chief Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto instituted another round of job rotation affecting 114 high-ranking military officers. This is the second job rotation this year, but it is the first major one. Commander Hadi fills in one more vacant position with the appointment of Major General (Maj. Gen.) Bakti Agus Fadjari as the new Army Vice Chief of Staff (Wakasad). Some see it as a hint that Commander Hadi would continue to serve until his term ends in November 2021.
