The Government considers slicing the state bond issuances this year due to excess cash from the 2020 State Budget. According to the government data, there is excess budget financing of more than Rp100 trillion. Director General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance Luky Alfirman said virtually on Tuesday (Feb. 23) that the Government had initially targeted net issuances of the state bond at around Rp1,177.4 trillion this year. The excess cash comes from the burden-sharing policy with Bank Indonesia (BI).
