President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo affirms his stance on the revision of the Election Law (UU Pemilu) No. 7/2017 and the Regional Election Law (UU Pilkada) No. 10/2016. The President specifically ordered all members of his ruling coalition to keep the schedule of simultaneous regional elections as mandated by the Regional Election Law: in 2024, not 2022 or 2023.
