PT Global Oceania Sejahtera (GOS Catering), engaging in industrial catering business, mulls to launch the initial public offering (IPO) next year, with the proceeds used to fund the development of uptream business, to creating an integrated food services company, and to serve for regional and global markets.

Agus Winarko, founder of GOS Catering, said in press statement that the company’s growth was accelerating as the market share remains enermous. Currently, the market share in catering business reaches 50% capacity. Also, this business is resilient to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic.

GOS Catering now serves local and foreign customers in oil and gas sector based in Sumatera, Java, Kalimantan, and Papua. The Company, Agus said, enters into plantation sector and others. Under GOS Group, GOS Catering now develops the upstream business (GOS Farm, GOS Nutrient, GOS Packs and GOS Xperience). Its existing main customers are such as Chevron, Elnusa, Sapura Energy, Seascape, and ANJ Plantation.

GOS Catering was founded in 2014 as food distributor, serving oil and gas clients in East Kalimantan, then entering industrial catering business in 2017. Agus said GOS Catering enjoyed a significant growth in revenue in 2020, and it grew by twofold in the first quarter (Q1) of 2021.
