Telco operator Indosat (ISAT) suffered a loss of Rp630 billion in 2020, against a profit of Rp1.63 trillion in 2019, due to the absence of a gain on sale and leaseback of towers. ISAT’s revenue grew 7.7% year on year (y/y) to Rp27.9 trillion. Cellular contributed Rp23.08 trillion revenue, a 15% growth y/y. While revenue of multimedia, data communication, internet (MIDI) declined 10.4% y/y to Rp4.28 trillion, and revenue of fixed telecommunications fell 15.4% y/y to Rp560.5 billion.
