The ministry of transportation appoints Patimban consortium for handling the Patimban Port project in Subang, West Java. The consortium consists of CT Corp Infrastructure, PT Indika Logistic & Support Services (ILSS), PT U Connectivity Services, and PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya.
Total values of capital for the joint venture agreement around Rp18.9 trillion and the operating costs is about Rp64.3 trillion. The consortium aims to turn Patimban Port into a modern and efficient port where technology is an integral part of the management of the Patimban Project.
Total area of the Patimban port is 654 hectares with details of 300 hectares for container terminals and vehicle terminals and 354 hectares will be allocated for back-up areas containing warehousing, offices, management and business areas. Parallel, the ministry also build non-toll road access to the port has been done and is almost complete.
