Indonesia’s COVID-19 Mitigation Task Force (Satgas Covid) reported 10,617 new daily cases on Jan. 8, up from the 9,321 new cases reported a day earlier. Today’s new case tally is another new record for Indonesia. With 7,446 reported cured and 233 dead, the tally of active cases is 117,704, up from 114,766 on Jan. 7.
