The opposition party PKS demands that the simultaneous regional elections, including the Jakarta gubernatorial election, be held in 2022, not 2024. PKS expressed its position in a discussion on the revision on the Election Law (UU Pemilu) No. 7/2017. PKS is a big supporter of the Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
