Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia tumbled 88.25% year-on-year to 158,159 in October 2020, as the COVID-19 global crisis forced more countries to implement travel restrictions. The number of arrivals by air in Bali, the center of the Indonesian tourism industry, slumped 100% to 10. Also, those visiting Jakarta plunged 94.46% to 10.492 and those reaching to Batam tumbled 98.85% to 1,832. Tourists fell mostly from Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
