The Indonesian Government decided to raise the cigarette excise tax by an average of 12.5% starting 2021. In detail, excise tax for type 1 machine white cigarettes is raised by 18.4%, type 2A up 16.5%, and type 3B up 18.1%. Excise tax for Type 1 machine kretek cigarettes is raised by 16.9%, type 2A up 13.8%, and type 3B up 15.4%.
