The Minister of Home Affairs Police General (ret) Tito Karnavian issued a Home Affairs Minister Instruction No. 6/2020 on the enforcement of health protocols for controlling the spread of COVID-19. Tito, who is also a former chief of the National Police (Kapolri), told regional heads that dismissal was possible should they fail to follow the laws and regulations and enforce health protocols. Some support Tito’s move, while others suggest a better route.
