State cement producer Semen Indonesia (SMGR) booked a net profit of Rp1.54 trillion in the first nine months (9M) to Sept. of 2020, grew 20.3% from Rp1.28 trillion in the corresponding period of 2019, thanks to lower financial costs. SMGR’s revenue declined 8.9% to Rp25.6 trillion, and gross profit fell 3.5% to Rp8.2 trillion. Its finance costs fell 29% to Rp1.76 trillion from the previous Rp2.38 trillion, helping the growth in the bottom line.
