Media Citra Nusantara (MNCN)—the parent of RCTI, MNC TV, and Global TV—booked a net profit of Rp1.45 trillion in the first nine months (9M) of 2020. It declined 18.36% from Rp1.77 trillion in the corresponding period of 2019, as revenue fell 6.3% to Rp5.96 trillion while direct cost was maintained at Rp2.3 trillion. The Company also recorded a loss of Rp92 billion in foreign exchange (forex) transactions, against a forex gain of Rp63.6 billion in the first 9M of 2019.
