The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim POLRI) arrested several high-profile figures related to the rallies protesting the new Omnibus Law on Job Creation (Cipta Kerja) that turned to riots. This time, among the figures arrested are those from the so-called Coalition to Save Indonesia (KAMI), an opposition group led by the former Military (TNI) Commander General (ret) Gatot Nurmantyo and the former Chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Din Syamsuddin.
