The Oct. 13 rally protesting the new Omnibus Law on Job Creation (Cipta Kerja) was organized hardline Muslim groups associated in the so-called the Anti-Communist National Alliance (Aliansi Nasional Anti Komunis or Anak NKRI). It turned into a riot. Afterwhich the Police raided the headquarters of the Indonesian Islamic Students (PII)-the Indonesian Islamic Youth Movement (GPII) in Menteng 58, Central Jakarta. The Police arrested some members of the said organizations.
