The Financial Services Authority (OJK) reported that the banking industry booked a net profit of Rp62.57 trillion in the first half (H1) of 2020, declined 20.3% from Rp78.51 trillion in the corresponding period of 2019. This year, OJK then predicted the banking profit to fall 20-50% year on year (y/y).
