State oil and gas firm Pertamina suffered a loss of US$761.24 million in the first half (H1) of 2020, against a profit of US$746.68 million in the corresponding period of 2019. Three factors make for a triple shock: lower oil prices, lower domestic consumption, and significant loss in foreign exchange (forex) transactions.
