Airport operator, PT Angkasa Pura II or AP II, offers a portion of Kualanamu International Airport in Medan, North Sumatra to potential strategic partners. To realize this plan the company has issued a Final Request for Proposal to potential investors.

Later, the airport manager and its strategic partner will become a shareholder in PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi, who is the manager of Kualanamu Airport. The company plans to offer ownership to strategic partners up to 49%.

According to CEO of AP II, Muhammad Awaluddin, the company together with the strategic partners will play a role in developing, upgrading the facilities, to operates and maintaining Kualanamu Airport within a period of 25 years.
